“My is Anna. It is very helpful to see how SolidarityHull is helping us translate letters and helping us to understand the rules and regulations, and facts about Covid 19. They also help us know the importance of testing as well as getting the vaccination,in our mother tongue in our WhatsApp group. The outcome is my husband got the Covid Vaccination. My life is not easy because I have not yet received papers that state I have permit residence in the UK. It was difficult to provide for my family. When I got the food parcels and masks for my family, I was very happy. That was very helpful and put a smile on our faces. We hope to get more support from SolidarityHull.”

“I Julienne I am very pleased to give my thanks to SolidarityHull CIC as it has been a long time I have been struggling on how to get legal aid for my case. When I heard SolidarityHull was helping people during this Covid 19, I contacted them. During a short time SolidarityHull helped me to get a Solicitor that will help me with my case. Also I have a long term illness which makes me vulnerable to Coronavirius, however SolidarityHull helped me by providing washable Face masks and Food parcels for me.”

“My name is Aline
I’m 45 and I am very happy with the support I have got from SolidarityHull CIC. I was in a lot of pain and I thought I was pregnant. If it wasn’t SolidarityHull CIC helping me due to language barrier, I wouldn’t have known that I had an underlying health condition, which made my stomach swell. SolidarityHull supported me in getting medicine prescriptions and making appointments until I reached the support I needed for a long time, because of my language barrier. My spleen was swollen. I am very happy that through SolidarityHull I knew what was wrong with me. SolidarityHull helped as being my interpreter when I visited the doctor. Although, I’m waiting for my tests to come back, I am very happy that I know what is wrong with me. I hope to start my medication soon.

I was also very happy to get food parcels from SolidarityHull. I sometimes don’t get enough strength to go shopping. I was thankful for SolidarityHull’s support in bringing me food. That was very helpful during this Covid 19. Thank you to the volunteers for helping people during this difficult moment.
