Solidarity Hull is committed to reducing the spread of COVID19 by following the government guidelines and recommendations, risk assessing all our planned activities.
The COVID‐19 pandemic has meant that Solidarity Hull has been unable to meet and carry out activities with our community. We are unable to maintain our office/workshop space and unable to fundraise as our team had been in lockdown and many of us do not have personal computers or internet at home. This pandemic has stopped us from working on the ground but we created a WhatsApp group or you can follow our face book page to keep in touch, support and keep people informed during this period.
Help control the virus
The World Health Organization has said that people aged in their 20s, 30s and 40s are spreading the virus without having the symptoms.
To protect yourself and others, when you leave home you must:
- wash hands – keep washing your hands regularly
- cover face – wear a face covering over your nose and mouth in enclosed spaces
- make space – stay at least 2 metres away from people not in your household
